RCL launches new China to East India Service

RCL with its partners Pacific International Lines (PIL) and Interasia Lines (IAL) are pleased to launch a new service between China and East India. Branded as the ‘RFM2’ service with the rotation of Ningbo – Shanghai – Ho Chi Minh – Singapore- Chennai – Visakhapatnam – Port Kelang – Ho Chi Minh using 4 X 2,000 TEU sized ships. The proforma is:

The maiden voyage will depart Ningbo on the 22nd April 22. RCL will deploy the Xutra Bhum in the service.

According to a RCL spokesperson, “The new RFM2 will complement RCL’s existing sailings on the RFM (Korea – China – East India) and RMB (Thailand to Kattupalli) and provide our valued customers more sailing frequency. With a call at Ho Chi Minh, our customers in Shanghai and Ningbo can also load to Ho Chi Minh while customers from Ho Chi Minh will have a direct sailing into Chennai and the first in the Visakhapatnam market”.

“Customers loading ex Chennai and Visakhapatnam will enjoy the benefit of a direct sailing into Ho Chi Minh and the benefit of frequency to both Port Kelang, Singapore, Ningbo and Shanghai”.
