This donation is intended to cover the medical expenses of 10 financially disadvantaged patients.

Flood Relief Donation to Ayutthaya Province

Employees of RCL Public Company Limited have generously donated a total of 12,000 baht, which, combined with a matching contribution from the company, brings the total to 90,000 baht. This fund will be used to assemble 300 survival kits to aid flood victims in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. In collaboration with the Foundation for Children and the Disabled, the company organized a volunteer activity to pack the survival kits on October 11, 2024. The Foundation for Children and the Disabled has been entrusted to distribute these survival kits on October 13, 2024, in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX) on the anniversary of His passing. This donation is made in honor of His Majesty’s royal legacy.

Flood Relief Donation to Strisrinan School

On September 12, RCL Company Limited donated 100,000 baht to Strisrinan School in Nan Province, which has been severely impacted by continuous heavy rainfall, resulting in flooding within the school grounds. Donating PET Plastic Bottle to Wat Chak Daeng

RCL Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's Pollution Control Department, Klongtoei District Office, Yannawa District Office, and Ngow Hock Agency Co. Ltd, collected PET plastic bottles as part of an environmental conservation effort.

On May 15, 2024, Khun Suporn Amnuaypan (Senior Vice President Group Head of HR, Admin, BT, BPM, IR, and Communications & Branding), along with RCL and Ngow Hock employees, donated 74.5 kl of disposable PET plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng in Samut Prakan, where they will be recycled and used to make monk robes.

It also benefits the environment by reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 77.48kl, which is equivalent to planting 1,677 trees, as well as reducing waste and generating profits for the community.

On 20 December 2023, RCL has pledged our support to environmental sustainability by contributing SGD15,000 to the Garden City Fund, established by the National Parks Board (NParks) of Singapore.

The contribution from RCL aims to support the Garden City Fund’s initiative to restore nature back to our city and redouble the efforts to green Singapore’s urban infrastructure. The cheque was received by NParks representative, Ms. Ng Zhi Yan. The donation is in support of planting 50 young trees in the Singapore landscape.
Donation for Nikhom Sang Ton Eang Khokpho School, the Joint Development School Project

RCL environmental conservation

On September 23, 2023, RCL Public Company Limited participated in an Environmental Conservation. The objective is to maintain balance in an ecosystem by releasing different species of fishes to increase the number of aquatic animals in natural water sources. This ESG activities also includes plants 400 Mangrove trees with the objective to re-establish the shoreline stabilization and buffering that coastal communities rely on.

A sustainable and good environmental conservation includes promoting awareness and encouraging participation in the conservation and preservation of the natural environment.

Representatives from Samut Songkram Regional Harbor Office, from Samutsongkhram Coastal Aquaculture Research and Development Center and Samut Songkram provincial Department of Fisheries join us for the event. While the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources supported 400 Mangrove trees.

We purchased 70,000 Blue crabs from Samutsongkhram Coastal Aquaculture Research and Development Center. The 1,000,000 baby Tiger prawn bred and 40,000 sea bass fish were released in the Ocean at Klong Khon, Samut Songkram Province

RCL's executive floor is on the Panjathani Building's 30th floor. The total area is 1,004.02 square meters, with a luxury design, modern technology, and a happy workplace designed.

The 5th Asia-Pacific Coral Reef Symposium

RCL has pledged a donation of SGD5,000 for ‘The 5th Asia-Pacific Coral Reef Symposium’ which is held at the National University of Singapore from 19 to 23 June 2023.

With the theme ‘Coral reef science and management in a rapidly changing world’, the 5th APCRS is a forum for reef scientists and managers to present, discuss and integrate the science and conservation of Asia-Pacific coral reef ecosystems.
Coral reefs here are threatened by a variety of stressors, including coastal modification and rapid climate change, giving rise not only to ecological implications but also to socio-economic impacts.

To draw attention to these threats and to work together towards practical solutions, the Asia-Pacific Coral Reef Symposium was organised to provide a platform for scientists, educators, managers, environmentalists, and other stakeholders in the region to share their knowledge and expertise on the fields of coral reef biology, ecology, management and conservation, with the intention of forging greater cooperation and effective programmes for collaboration to preserve our common marine natural heritage.

Donation of saving the lives of cattle

On April 2, 2023, Khun Twinchok Tanthuwanit, President of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited, and employees participated in merit- making activity contributed Bath 128,995 with donation of 3 cows and 2 buffaloes. The donation was made to help save the lives of cattle in collaboration with Wat Phra Si Mahathat Woramahawihan. This initiative supports impoverished farmers by providing them with cows and buffaloes for labor, increasing their agricultural productivity and providing them with an additional source of income. Additionally, this effort helps to save the lives of cows and buffaloes by allowing them to reproduce and avoid extinction. Project for the Ramathibodi Hospital Building and Yothi Medical Innovation District

On 17 February 2023, Khun Sumate Tanthuwanit, Chairman of the Executive Committee, graciously contributed Baht 5,000,000 to “A project for the Ramathibodi Hospital Building and Yothi Medical Innovation District”. The new building is aimed to enhance efficiency of medical services especially treatments for complicated sickness in response to unforeseen circumstances that take place as a result of diseases of today and tomorrow. The efficiency and capacity of the new building will give more room for people in general to access standard medical services. This event took place at a ceremony to celebrate the 29th Anniversary and moving toward the 30th Anniversary of EXIM Thailand’s business operation at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office.

Marine Environmental Conservation

On December 17, 2022, RCL Public Company Limited participated in an Environmental Conservation. The objective is to maintain balance in an ecosystem by releasing different species of fishes to increase the number of aquatic animals in natural water sources. This CSR activity also includes the collection of garbage along the coast and building a fish house from rope to allow small aquatic species to have a habitat.

A sustainable and good environmental conservation includes promoting awareness and encouraging participation in the conservation and preservation of the natural environment.

Representatives from Chonburi Regional Harbor Office, Marine and Coastal Resources Administration Office 2 Chonburi, Chonburi Provincial Fisheries Office joined us for the event. While the Merchant Marine Training Centre for Environmental Conservation supported the participants with life jackets.

We purchased 800,000 baby Banana prawn bred from the Coastal Fisheries Research and Development Center in Chachoengsao Province. The baby Banana prawn together with 15,000 fishes and 300 crab breeders were released in the ocean at Ao Udom, Chonburi Province.

Sri Lanka - Donation Handover Ceremony

On 1 November 2022, Khun Twinchok Tanthuwanit, President of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited attended a donation handover ceremony. RCL supports the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in its effort to mitigate the current economic crisis by providing free shipping of donated items to Sri Lanka. RCL transported four rounds totaling 146 tons between August and October.
The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand. The donations were received by Mrs. Colonne Appuhamillage Chaminda Inoka Colonne, Sri Lanka Ambassador to Thailand.

In September 2022, RCL Shanghai organized a book donation as part of our CSR initiative in China. The beneficiary are students from Ningxia Xiji Senior High School which is located in the inland area of Northwest China.

RCL Public Company Limited is cooperating with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to assist Sri Lanka in times of economic and livelihood crisis. We had committed to provide free shipping of donated items to Sri Lanka.
The second batch of four containers containing 25 tons (1x20'GP) and 72 tons (3x20'GP) of rice were transported on 4 October 2022 and 19 October 2022. The rice was donated through Wat Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) and Rama 9 Temple respectively

The first two containers containing 25 tons (1x20'GP) and 24 tons (1x20'GP) of rice was transported on 21 August 2022 and 28 August 2022 respectively. These two containers of rice were donated through the Rama IX Golden Jubilee Temple.

First Thai Flag Vessel in Sohar

Regional Container Line is the first Thai carrier to provide a direct liner connection between the two countries of Thailand and Oman, by a weekly RGA service. M.V. Vira Bhum, the first Thai flag, has received a welcome ceremony in Sohar Port, Oman, on date 25 July 2022.
