Update on MV Nawata Bhum

Regional Container Lines (RCL) would like to provide a further update regarding MV NAWATA BHUM, following the incident on the Hooghly River, India, on 12 August 2026.

We are pleased to confirm that the vessel has been successfully refloated on 13th August and has resumed service.

All crew members onboard are safe, with no injuries reported. There has been no damage to the cargo onboard.

Following the necessary inspections and assessments, the vessel has resumed her voyage.

The safety of our crew, vessel and cargo remains our highest priority.

We thank our customers and partners for their understanding, patience and continued support.
